ABOUT THE FACILITIES
Set over 13.5 acres, the Village boasts character buildings, galleries, shops and community organisations nestled within native bush and gardens. Within the grounds there are several options for your meeting, workshop, conference or incentive activity. Additionally, the expansive grounds can be hired for special events and can accommodate large expos or festivals.
Village Hall
This grand hall is over 200sqm and had excellent lighting and acoustics. Ideal for:
- Seminars
- Workshops
- Private functions
- Seating capacity of 150 theatre style or 100 for dinner
Village Cinema
The cinema is a nod to the art deco era, and is perfect for presentations, product launches, and documentary screenings.
- Fixed tiered seating for 60
- Projection and surround sound equipment available for an additional fee.
Schoolhouse
Originally from Mount Maunganui, this charming classroom is fantastic for meetings, training workshops and small presentations. Seating capacity of 18 in a U shape configuration.
Village Amphitheatre
Situated next to the Village Chapel, the amphitheatre is a versatile outdoor space with in-built terraces. The Village Chapel is automatically booked as a wet-weather alternative for this space.
Village Chapel
This beautifully rebuilt church preserves the special original features and can seat up to 50 people for a wedding or other service.
