There’s nothing better than hitting the fairways for a round of golf and fortunately Te Moananui ā Toi ׀ Coastal Bay of Plenty has some epic courses for you to enjoy.

Our love of golf is evident from the moment you fly into Tauranga Airport and sweep low over Omanu Golf Club as you approach the runway. We have some beautiful links golf courses as well as many nine hole courses that are conveniently dotted around our region. Ōhope Beach and Ōmokoroa are home to two of the most scenic golf courses you’ll find anywhere in the country. Serious golfers who want a challenge should head straight for Tauranga Golf Club or Summerhill Estate – which offers spectacular views from the top of Papamoa’s hills but obscured views of their greens to add an extra layer of difficulty.

Expect to pay around $20-$35 in casual green fees for 9 holes, or $35-$75 for a full round. Many courses have electric carts for hire, as well as trundlers and a set of clubs if you haven’t brought any with you.
