When we arrived, a minor booking mistake was handled well.  This is always the mark of good management, as it's the sort of thing that can ruin a whole experience if it isn't. Madame was a lot of fun.  That's not something I usually look for in a restaurant, but she carries it off perfectly.  The service was attentive, and the staff friendly. So, onto the stuff I do normally care about: the food.  The food was decidedly not expensive for what it was.  It was well presented, correctly cooked, and tasty.  I had the eye fillet, rare (it came out nicely rare), and the actual flavour of the meat was really good.  My wife had the duck, which was similarly beautifully prepared and tasty, although it might perhaps have been even better if the orange was more emphatic. We generally don't have starters or dessert, which is a shame because I'd wager this would have been a good place to pop my snails cherry.

Mixed experience. Food was nice but cold, website on google says it closes at 10pm but they started packing up around us about an hour after we got there ( we got there around 7). Male owner there was initially friendly but then it became inappropriate as he was very very intoxicated and sat at our table to talk for over half an hour, and physically grabbed one of us a lot. Food is quite nice but the customer experience is quite unacceptable. Our dinner was ruined and we weren’t even offered a discount by the other owner despite our very awkward and interrupted dinner.

What a great place.  From the time we walked in we were greeted (in French) by a friendly staff member.  Service was efficient but not invasive.  There was a great choice of meals on offer. Our meals were fabulously presented and good portions. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back again.
