Forward looking accommodation Dashboard
The Tourism Bay of Plenty Forward Demand Monitor provides critical forward looking insights into future accommodation demand trends as an indicator of how busy we can expect the destination to be and what sort of travellers we might expect. This information can be used to inform short and long term planning for our operators including staffing, inventory and marketing efforts.
HOW TO USE THE ACCOMMODATION DASHBOARD
The information is sourced from major booking platforms, including Airbnb, Booking.com,
and others. It reflects current bookings, offering an indicative snapshot of the present
situation rather than a projection of what can be expected on the actual day.
Across the dashboard, insights can be viewed for the Coastal Bay of Plenty as a whole, or
the locality filter in the top right can be used to drill down to examine the demand patterns in
more specific localities.
Historic data on accommodation performance can be found on the Destination Insights
Dashboard.
