On site, we have four beautiful chalets nestled into the landscape of Te Tii, the chalets are calming and cosy, they have lots of exposed wood, with a glimpse of culture and an insight of Tūhoe and its history.
Each chalet is named after a manu which has significance to the people of Ruatāhuna – our chalets are: Rearea, Ngongoriheke, Pihipihi and Kōkō. Our chalets welcome not only manuhiri but also whānau from Ruatāhuna who come home to reconnect with the people, the place and the whenua. Our four chalets are an extension of the ngahere in which they shelter under. Situated on the rise behind the main complex. The four chalets one with disability access, with the remaining chalets designed for families – having two bedrooms in one and the others with open mezzanine floors. All chalets are self-contained units with a small bathroom, kitchenette and balconies to enjoy the stunning sunset. You get the best of both worlds.
