Nau mai haere mai ki wheako 6-haora. Welcome to our 6-hour guided experience. Let our kaiārahi (local guide) lead you on a journey of nature, culture, food, whānau (family) and long-lasting memories across our ātaahua (beautiful) region.
Let tangata whenua (local people of the land) transport you into cultural and natural landmarks of significance while we share the region’s Māori history and customs. Here's a taste of what you may experience - Visit a secluded waterfall, hike to a scenic site, sample Māori cuisine, lunch with us in a beautiful natural setting, learn from and connect with Māori from this region, learn your mihi (Māori introduction), ground yourself with papatūanuku (Mother Earth) on sacred land, walk through the waters of our awa (river), moana (ocean) or roto (lake), gather and sample shellfish. Or you may opt to participate in a conservation activity such as track clearing or tree planting.
