New and exciting stores include the first Edge Clothing store in New Zealand and flagship location for premium shoe specialists, Solect. Find fashion choices for him and her in quintessential stores like Decjuba, Ezibuy, Just Jeans and Cotton On, or make the most of the bay’s sunny climate with beach and outdoor gear from Boardertown, North Beach and Stirling Sports.

Dining

There are 25 delicious eateries to choose from at Tauranga Crossing, with something to satisfy everyone. The Observatory is the perfect place for a pre-movie dinner or drink, located close to the EVENT Cinema complex and open 11am to 9pm daily. Grab lunch on the run or explore different cuisines at one of nine options in The Garden Eateries, open 9am to 7pm, and until 9pm on Thursdays. Or head on over to The Millyard, open 9am til late daily, to savour a cup of coffee in the sun or catch up with friends over a drink.

Entertainment

EVENT Cinemas at Tauranga Crossing brings you big screens, amazing sound and star treatment – your movie experience will never be the same again. Elevate the traditional cinema experience with a seat upgrade, or take in the big screen blockbuster movie experience at New Zealand’s first purpose built, world class VMAX auditorium.

Fun for all ages can be found at Rcade, with a dedicated virtual reality area and the latest gaming technology offering an immersive, total body experience. More traditional gamers can enjoy a great range of arcade games, from fishing to car racing and sports.

Art

At the heart of Tauranga Crossing you can find The Fernery, a kinetic art installation by New Zealand born sculptor Phil Price. Small groves of wind activated kinetic trees are a fantastical take on New Zealand’s native flora. Continue on to find The Millwalk, a collection of historical stories etched onto signature timber bollards found throughout the centre.
