Greerton Village is also home to several major banks, pharmacies, medical centres, a post office, stationary stores and everyday services you might need while visiting our region.
Have a seat in Greerton’s village square if you need a place to rest your feet. Eight million dollars has been invested in the streetscape here and it’s a pretty place to walk around – especially in spring when dozens of cherry trees which line the streets bloom with gorgeous pink blossom.
Greerton Village is also renowned for its ‘yarn bombing’ craze. Have fun spotting the quirky array of knitted garments woven around numerous tree trunks. One prominent tree is encased in a giant ball of wall complete with oversized knitting needles!
Free parking is available right outside the door for between one and two hours in most places. If you wish to park for longer, there are spaces available in surrounding streets which have no time limits whatsoever.
This once rural village is now bustling with shoppers and has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Enjoy the convenience of shopping here without the need to travel right into the city centre.
