The 57th National Jazz Festival presents a fantastic programme of events in Tauranga this Easter from 18 to 21 April 2019, showcasing performances from some of the best jazz musicians from right here in Aotearoa and around the world.
Kim Paterson Quintet NZ
Kim Paterson is a living musical legend, from his time in Australia in the 60s with Bernie McGann playing jazz that was ground-breaking, through to his work with Dr Tree, Space Case and Jazzmobile. Kim has played with Mike Nock, Alan Broadbent, Russ Garcia, Frank Gibson Jnr., Dave McRae, Nathan Haines, Mark de Clive-Lowe and many others.
The Kim Paterson Quintet presents Kim’s originals, each with a story behind it that brought the music to life.
