Boomerang Bags Tauranga is having a Sewing Bee at Our Place Tauranga and we would love your help! Volunteers needed to help with cutting materials, pinning, ironing, stamping and sewing.
Boomerang Bags Tauranga is a community driven initiative tackling plastic pollution at the grassroots level. Volunteers get together to make re-usable bags using recycled materials as a means to provide a sustainable alternative to plastic bags.
All ages welcome! No experience required.
If you are planning on coming along please join up to the event page (link below) and let us know which of the following applies to you:
- Can bring your own sewing machine or overlocker and have sewing skills.
- Can bring a sewing machine but don't know how to sew.
- Have sewing skills but no access to a sewing machine.
- Just happy to help with cutting/pinning/ironing/stamping.
If you don't know how to sew don't be afraid to come along, there are lots of other no sew jobs like cutting, ironing and pinning!
All help is extremely valuable! We look forward to doing some crafts and helping out our environment!
Any questions feel free to post or contact Charlotte at firstname.lastname@example.org
