American purveyors of trashy country punk the Supersuckers are returning to New Zealand for a four-date jaunt in November. The long overdue tour from the self-proclaimed "greatest rock n’ roll band in the world" is coming on the heels of a string of dates through Australia, including an appearance at the sold-out River Rocks festival in Geelong.
The long running rock outfit, who are renowned for their raucous live shows, currently boasts a line-up of founding member Eddie Spaghetti (vocals, bass) who is joined by 'Metal' Marty Chandler (guitar, vocals) and 'Captain' Chris Von Streicher (drums).
