Take a positive step for dementia and join the Memory Walk.
Two-thirds of us are touched by dementia at some stage. Memory Walks are for people of all ages and abilities to raise awareness of dementia. It's also a great way to honour our family and community members that have been or are affected by dementia.
Join us on Saturday 23rd September at Coronation Park. Registration, T-Shirt pick up and Expo is open from 9am, walk starts at 10am.
We rely on the kind generosity of our supporters to be able to help those in need. You can choose to fundraise for us to help people in Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty.
The route is a leisurely and scenic walk 4km course, heading out of Coronation Park into Salisbury Park, along Pilot Bay, across the front of the Mount on Adams Ave, then down Marine Parade, up Banks Ave and back to Coronation Park.
The entire route is wheelchair, family and dog-friendly. It is not a race, it is a leisurely walk to raise awareness of dementia and support local families.
Register now! All registrants receive a free t-shirt.
