Commercial Accommodation Monitor (CAM)
Each month, Tourism Bay of Plenty receives a report from Statistics New Zealand called the Commercial Accommodation Monitor (CAM). This report provides data about visitors who stay in the region's motels, hotels and the like. The relevant statistics include total nights guests stay each month, year-end figures plus length of stay and occupancy rates.
