Tourism Bay of Plenty Image Library Terms and Conditions of Use

Tourism Bay of Plenty has developed an image library to be used by the tourism industry, media and organisations to promote New Zealand’s coastal Bay of Plenty region as a holiday destination.

The Images on this image library are protected under copyright and other laws of New Zealand, international conventions and similar international laws.
When using any image in this image library, you must adhere to Tourism Bay of Plenty’s copyright policy, which includes, but is not limited to, the following requirements:

1. You must request the usage by using the online request form.
2. Use of any image is on a project–by-project basis only.
3. You may only use the Images for the project or promotion referred to in the Project Request form submitted by you.
4. If you wish to use any Image for another project you are required to submit a new online request form.
5. Unless this licence is earlier terminated by Tourism Bay of Plenty your right to reproduce the Image will expire on the date notified by you in the online request form.
6. Images may only be used for the purpose of promoting the Bay of Plenty as a visitor destination or at Tourism Bay of Plenty discretion.
7. Each image used must be labelled properly. Each image contains a caption which must be used. Within New Zealand Example: Main Beach, Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty. Outside New Zealand Example: Main Beach, Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
8. Incorrect labelling will be viewed as a breach of these terms and conditions of use.
9. Rights to images are non-exclusive and non-transferable.
10. You are required to send a sample of the published image(s) to Tourism Bay of Plenty; a PDF is acceptable.
